FluxGateAI is an applied AI company that operates across three modes: original research, product development, and capital deployment in both private ventures and public markets. Everything we do is organized around a single thesis.

What we believe

AI is collapsing the cost of specificity. For decades, software and capital allocation have been built around averages. Products designed for the median user. Strategies built on factors broad enough to scale. That made sense when understanding a specific situation was expensive. It no longer is.

When the cost of understanding a specific person, a specific problem, or a specific opportunity drops to near zero, building for the average stops making sense. The products and strategies that win will be the ones that operate at a level of granularity that was previously uneconomical.

How we work

We are hands-on across all three modes. On the research side, we publish original work on how AI systems can better understand and adapt to complex, high-dimensional environments. On the product side, we build tools where AI-driven specificity is the core value proposition. On the investment side, we deploy capital where AI-driven specialization creates durable advantages, both in early-stage ventures and in public markets.

These aren't separate activities. The research informs the products, the products generate insight, and the investment activity gives us exposure to how this thesis plays out across domains.
